When I was seeking to grow financially beyond my work in the nonprofit sector, God placed Earl Hale in my life. Earl, an ex-Shell executive turned real estate agent, helped my wife, Laurie, and me purchase our first home in Houston, Texas. During that process, he said, “Jeremy, you’d make a great real estate agent.” Little did I know that just a few months later, I would be working full-time in real estate sales.
